The project of Georgios ZachosThe individual project inside the SONORUS programme that I will be responsible for, includes auralization and perceptualization of urban sound environments and traffic noise. Computational models for sound propagation will initially be developed exploiting different mathematical models like the finite difference time domain (FDTD), and programming techniques, in order to achieve realistic and efficient auralization tools, which they will act as a testbed on urban sound planning models from other researchers of the programme. |
